“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Awakening to Our True Nature

I believe that we are individuated aspects of God having a human experience in this physical realm.  There are many teachings that speak to this and I have most certainly been influenced by some of these.  My belief has been reinforced by innumerable experiences, throughout most of my life, that have demonstrated to me in tangible ways that our outer physical reality is not the only reality we can experience.  This for me is no longer a belief - it is an absolute knowing.  I have glimpsed what is possible when we allow ourselves to engage in these other levels of existence and this has enabled me to entertain the possibility that, not only are we more than we seem, we are indeed grand beings.

We are all aware of the capabilities of those we call geniuses, saints, or great men and women - Mozart, Michelangelo, Shakespeare, Keller, Einstein, Gandhi, Theresa, Diana, Lennon, Kennedy, King, Mandela.  We all know who these people are or were and there are so many more.  How were these people able to do what they did?  What were they able to access that set them apart from the average person?  Are we witnessing anomalies or are we all capable of our own version of greatness?  I believe the latter to be true.  Who were Jesus, Mohammed and Buddha, and what did they and others come to teach us about who we are?

How do people overcome great adversity and tragedy?  How is spontaneous healing possible?  How do we have knowing of things that we have no outer knowledge of?  How do we enter altered states where the seemingly impossible becomes possible?  Through my work I have witnessed such things in others over and over again and it fills me with such joy and hope.  I have come to know as my truth that we are indeed ALL grand wonderful beings by the very nature of who we are.  I have come to understand that our physical bodies are these magnificent vehicles that not only host our journeys but will inform and facilitate our healing and unfolding if we allow it.  I have witnessed this in myself and in others uncountable times such that the question of whether or not this is possible is not even a question.  I am so grateful to all of you who have contributed to my understanding by sharing your journeys with me and allowing yourselves to be authentically seen.  It is a powerful, empowering gift!  Thank you.
